Paterson Estates is proud to support Michelle and Tommy’s fundraising journey and has pledged to generously donate £50 from each property completion towards their target of raising £5,000 for Salisbury Hospice Charity.
The Read family, who are based in Gillingham, Dorset are renowned for their fundraising endeavours, particularly through their previous Mont Blanc trek, which raised £10K in 2022! Salisbury Hospice Charity are very thankful to Michelle and Tommy for their continued support. The couple’s next fundraising challenge, is nothing short of remarkable, as the couple take on the charity’s five-day trek through Croatia.
Each trekker is tasked with raising a minimum sponsorship of £2,500 within a two-year period. The charity offers various forms of assistance to help trekkers achieve this target, including supporting events such as coffee mornings, music events and raffles. Additionally, trekkers can reach out to their family, friends, and local businesses for support.
In recognition of raising such a remarkable amount over the two years, the trekkers will enjoy an incredible five-day experience of trekking along the Istria Mountain Trail. The trek will encompass a meandering path through the forested hills of Buzet, culminating east of Učka National Park. The journey entails cresting three mountain peaks, providing panoramic views of the surrounding regions from the summit of Mount Učka. It is noteworthy that Mount Učka is the highest peak in the region, towering at an altitude of 1401m, which is equivalent to 11½ times the height of Salisbury Cathedral’s spire!
