On Saturday 14th of August, our kind supporters Lisa and Matt Read hosted their Red Carpet Summer Ball event in support of Salisbury Hospice Charity.

The event was held at The White Hart Hotel, Salisbury. Guests experienced a red carpet welcome, prosecco and a three course meal. Local trio In Bloom, provided the entertainment, playing some acoustic rock and folk covers.

A fantastic £1426 was raised from the event, in memory of Lisa’s mum, Lis Wright who sadly passed away 2 years ago under hospice care.

Lisa chose to support the hospice after experiencing first-hand how vital fundraising is to its services, she was aware of the continuous pressure the hospice experiences, with increasing numbers of patients in need of support.

Since loosing her mum, Lisa has participated in events such as the Midnight Walk and the ‘Give it up Challenge’, in total she has raised an incredible £4390 for the hospice!

We would like to thank Lisa and Matt for their generous support and extent our gratitude to their wonderful sponsors, Personal Carers Ltd, Riverside Motors, CB Domestics, Perfect Pet Insurance, Harnham Physiotherapy and Sparkling Cleaning Ltd.
