Garden Makeover

Thanks to the incredibly kind efforts of Michele Willis and the support of her husband, Tony. The garden space outside our fundraising office has been transformed into a beautiful and tranquil place for all hospital staff and visitors to enjoy!

Michele, a keen gardener worked incredibly hard to transform the garden and generously donated plants and pots to feature in it. She also received donations of items from her daughter and neighbours as well as, a kind donation of £30 from an anonymous donor at the hospital, that was put towards the makeover.

Michele became a volunteer earlier this year after meeting a girl by chance on a bench in Salisbury, who had experienced the hospice and its services first-hand. She was inspired by what she heard and wanted to help. It was then she decided to do something and got in touch. She thought the staff deserved somewhere nice to relax and within a couple of weeks, she had started!

She has since become a volunteer for both the hospice and the fundraising team, supporting events in Woodford and Tisbury. She participated in our Firewalk and will be Walking the Test Way on the 26th of September in support of the charity.

We cannot thank Michele enough for her incredibly generous support and for the time and dedication she has put into our garden space. It puts a smile on the face of everyone who sees it. Michele, we think you are just wonderful!
