It allows our nurses to provide expert care while enabling patients to stay close to those they love, whether it’s a family member or a beloved pet. Each cuddle bed creates precious memories and provides comfort in one of life’s most challenging moments.

What is a cuddle bed?

The cuddle bed is more than just a clinical piece of equipment, it’s a vital tool for providing compassionate palliative care. allowing patients to share intimate moments with loved ones during their final days. Its ability to provide comfort and connection at such a tender time is invaluable. Also used for bariatric care, it’s certified for two people, ensuring both patient and caregiver can experience peace of mind while receiving safe care.

Sammie’s Story

Our appeal is inspired by  the heartfelt story of Sammie, a local woman who wishes to ensure that other families can experience the comfort and closeness she and her late husband, Martin, were unable to during his final days. Read more of her story below…
