The Salisbury Hospice Charity’s annual Corporate Gala Quiz, held last Friday at the Salisbury Arts Centre, raised in excess of £6,000. The event, sponsored by Trethowans Solicitors in partnership with Salisbury Radio, exceeded all expectations, thanks to local businesses coming together for a fun and competitive evening.
Quizmaster Andy Munns led participants through eight entertaining yet challenging rounds, covering a wide range of topics including 80’s culture, sport, general knowledge, and a unique music round. The evening also consisted of a delicious fish and chip supper, supplied by Britz Fish & Chips, as well as raffle and auction.
A special thanks goes to Jeremy Lamond from Woolley & Wallis Salesrooms for serving as the charity auctioneer. Salisbury Hospice Charity is also pleased to announce that the auction lot for the “Sell Your Home for FREE” kindly donated by Northwood Estate Agents, has been extended until 31st October. The highest bidder will only pay their winning bid. A reserve has been placed on the auction lots of £1,000.
