Following the recent announcement on the tightening of Covid restrictions and the increase in the spread of the omicron variant, we have made the difficult decision to cancel our Light Up a Life service at St Thomas’s church on the 19th December.
We are so sorry to disappoint the many people who were looking forward to attending the service but as a health care charity, we do not feel it would be appropriate to put individuals at risk. Our top priority is the health of our staff, volunteers, supporters and the wider community.
Our thoughts and thanks are with those who were planning to attend the service. We hope soon, we will be able to come together as a community and remember our loved ones.
We would like to thank everyone that has been involved in the planning of this event including our kind sponsor, Parker Bullen Solicitors.
We are grateful to everyone who has so far donated to our annual Light up a Life appeal which will help us continue delivering compassionate and specialist care to our patients and their families.
You can still donate and make a dedication to the Light up a Life appeal through this link: Light Up a Life (dedicationpage.org)
Wishing you a healthy Christmas and a peaceful New Year.
